This is the lovely & charismatic
Johanna. Like a true Muse, this lady has a voice that’ll knock your socks off.
At the time of this casting, she was backed by the funky sounds of Spredhaus. When the band graciously consented to pose for a sculpture, I made
a second cast from the mold I had done of Johanna. It seemed the perfect pose from
which to create a negative reverse as seen in any standard deck of playing cards, and
Johanna has become the “Queen of Roses”.
I'm sorry to say that the band Spredhaus is now "de-funked", but Johanna now has
her own band and if you ever have a chance to see Johanna playing live, I totally
recommend it.
