For this Christmas season, I chose to feature a very special "Model
of the Month" - the most precious Sabrina Michelle, along with her wonderful mother,
Carmen. Sabrina posed for her first sculpture when she was still in utero for my
first belly cast. There's a lovely story telling how this came about written up along with
a photo of their sculpture, Beneath My Hands.
This was a very important sculpture to me, because it serves as a
reaffirmation of life and I believe we all need that now more than ever. During this
festive holiday season, while our country is still at war against terrorism, we need to
remember the helpless babe laying safe within its mothers loving arms. |
