The "Lovely Lisa" was the love of
my life over a quarter century ago. My, how times flies.
"Lisa"
was the subject of many of my early paintings when I was first learning my craft.
Here are two samples of those paintings from the late 70's. Both are pretty moody,
but I like them. A ghost figure appeared, wrapping his arms around "Lisa"
from behind the couch. I had painted over an old painting without gessoing it first
and my self-portrait bled through. Its eerie, but kewl. |
