I’m a great “pack-rat”.  If I’m driving down the road and see something kinda kewl in somebody's garbage, I’ll stop and toss it in the back of my van and figure out what to do with it later.  I discovered this crib that way.

While working with this beautifully petite model, Heather, I thought “what a perfect time to pull that crib out and create a ‘Lolita’ sculpture”.  I especially love the "natty" teddy bear that stands guard from the corner of the crib.  It just seems so "toys in the attic" that it adds such an emotionally degenerative "broken" feel to the sculpture.
