This had been
another "Sue
Inna Box" sculpture with poor Susan crammed inside of a box once again. I decided to
"free" Sue from her captivity this summer and I used this sculpture to create
this unique birdbath and feeder, a female St. Francis. The faux patina finish works well
against the English Ivy growing on a small wall in front of my house and the azelas are
just starting to bloom. The birdbath sits in a larger disc surrounded by a ring of wild
flowers.
Interesting side note - the English Ivy on the wall started as a small piece cut from the
walkway at Washington's home in Mount Vernon, Virginia.
