Sisters of Mercy

sistersofmercy.jpg (62088 bytes)
This sculpture was named after a Leonard Cohen song (that was later used by the Goth band).  This controversial piece portrays a holy relic as a sexual icon.
I’ve always looked at sex as a gift from God, elevating the human condition to new heights.  I’ve never believed in “original sin”.  I’ve never believed that Mary remained a virgin after the birth of the Christ child.
We are all sexual beings.
We are all children of God.
Celebrate life!
