this is my personal all time favorite sculpture. I had always worried that
this piece would be misunderstood, but surprisingly reviewers seem to nail it. |

chose a female body builder for this piece because I wanted to show “woman” as a
powerful force in the world. Unfortunately, in our testosterone-driven society,
“woman” remains shackled and bound like a bird in a gilded cage. |

gilded crown of thorns was done as an afterthought. |

else in society is as willing to sacrifice of themselves as “woman”? |

else is as Christ-like? |
