The lovely Dawn has such beautiful
character to her face. I used her for several smaller sculptures and decided to try a
traditional bust. The first attempt turned out poorly. I tried again with even worst
results. After hiding in the back of my closet for several years, I decided to try again.
I cut off half the base and removed the drape and approached it as a new Dawn. I was happy
with the new results. Sometimes in life, you just need to put things away for a while
before coming back to them. This sculpture is now a part of a
private collection.
