Michelle Torso    

michelletorso.jpg (38234 bytes)     Michelle Diamond  has the record for posing for more of my sculptures than any other model. This piece was her 16th and the last, with a slight twist to her hips for attitude.

One day, I will add more to this piece. Last year, Michelle tragically took her own life when the pressures of the world became too great for her to handle.   Using the martyed Saint Sebastian as an influence, I want to circle the figure with barbed wire and add several arrows to it.

As in Hamlet's suicide soliloquy -
"To be or not to be, that is the question;
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing, end them."
