Einstein on the Beach

illustrations-einstein.jpg (66116 bytes)         I love this title, which came from an album by minimalist composer Phillip Glass.  It seems to “humanize” the man.  A man, who at the pinnacle of human intelligence, could just kick off his shoes and wiggle his toes in the sand.  This illustration was inspired by its title.
