Kim (1978)

paintings-kimportrait.jpg (41163 bytes)     Kim was a sweetheart in my life, after a few years in Hell. Kim took me and reshaped me into a better person.

In the 1978, I went "in search of America" and decided to move to San Francisco, looking for OZ.  Kim mailed me this photo to let me know what I was missing. The pose was modeled after a photo she had seen of Stevie Nicks.

Kim's Dad helped me with this portrait.   He was a great painter and he taught me a lot about painting and also about life in general.  Kim and her family were very lucky to have had him.
